Bb-OpenSource.Org is actively seeking new contributions and new
participants. The primary requirement for distributing your Building
Block application through this site is that you distribute your
application as Open Source as defined by The Open Source Initiative. We encourage you to use one of
the Open Source Inititative's approved open source license agreements. Make certain that you
have included appropriate licensing information in your distribution package that you submit here.
To submit your Building Blocks application to this site, please:
Create a war or zip file that contains your application in a format
ready for installation into Blackboard. (See the Blackboard Building
Blocks documentation for information on how to do this.)
Create an html file that contains installation information for your Building Blocks application.
Complete the submission form.
Note: The submission form requires that you upload both the application
and the documentation file referenced above when you submit your
application.
After submitting the form, you will be contacted by a Bb-OpenSource
representative within 3 business days. The representative will verify
your information before making your Building Block application
available on our website.
